Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang’s visit to Indonesia aims to deepen bilateral relations amid US pressure, Global Times writes on February 21.
According to Chinese experts, the diplomat’s visit is aimed at further developing relations between the two countries as part of the strategy of building a Chinese-Indonesian community of a common future.
In addition, Beijing intends to achieve closer cooperation within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) amid growing US threats to regional stability and development, the Global Times said.
